Here is what the lady, Laura Johnson, standing next to the Powerball wheel said, “Good evening, everyone! This is Powerball. I’m Laura Johnson. Because of a technical problem, tonight, we are unable to bring you the Powerball drawing at this time. As soon as we’re able to resolve the issue and conduct a drawing, it will be available for viewing on Powerball dot com and on our YouTube channel, Powerball 39.”
The Powerball folks want y’all to know that they delayed the drawing so that they can make sure no funny business is going on.
It is, after all, $1.9 billion on the line. And the one thing nobody wants is some high tech, genius devil using his or her brainy powers to tilt the odds in his or her favor. Therefore, check, check, check is all the Powerball security folks did last night and early into the wee morning hours in order to make sure no funny business was going on.
The Powerball folks say that their security team and an outside auditing group will certify the results. Here’re the numbers: 10, 33, 41, 47, 56 and the red ball number is 10.
